Derrick K. Gibbs is a Christian music recording artist hailing from the great state of Arkansas. Going into his third semester at New York University Tisch School of Fine Arts, Derrick has directed major musical theater productions such as “The Color Purple”, “The Wiz”, and “Dream Girls”. He has also served as musical director for “Beauty & The Beast”, “Annie”, “A Chorus Line” and “SpongeBob SquarePants”. He has been cast in principal roles in nationally acclaimed musicals and stage plays such as “The Wiz”, “The Wizard of Oz”, “A Motown Christmas”, “Nunsense A-Men”, and “A Chorus Line”. With the release of his second solo recording, there is so much more to look forward to from Derrick.
